Regulation

Authorised by FINMA, supervised by OSFINcontrol: what it means for your family

Not every family office is regulated. Here is what our FINMA authorisation and ongoing supervision concretely guarantee to the families we serve.

Classic Swiss bank building façade symbolising regulated wealth management

In Switzerland, the Financial Institutions Act (FinIA) requires independent portfolio managers to obtain an authorisation from FINMA, the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority. Hans Blatti holds this authorisation and is listed in FINMA’s public register of authorised institutions.

Ongoing supervision, not a one-off stamp

Authorisation is only the beginning. Our day-to-day activity is supervised by OSFINcontrol AG, a supervisory organisation recognised by FINMA. It reviews our organisation, risk management, compliance and adherence to the conduct rules of the Financial Services Act (FinSA).

What this guarantees to you

Concretely, regulation means: assets held in your name with first-class custodian banks, never on our balance sheet; documented suitability and appropriateness assessments; full transparency on costs and potential conflicts of interest; and strict anti-money-laundering procedures.

“Regulation is not a constraint for us. It is the proof, written in law, of the standards we promise our families.”
